Rory O’Dwyer
Chief Executive Officer, Owner/Manager
Mr. O’Dwyer has been a dynamic influencer in franchising for the better part of 40 years and is the Co-Founder of the iconic PuroClean brand. In 2015 Mr. O’Dwyer divested most of his interest in PuroClean and in 2017 purchased a majority interest in Shapes Fitness for Women.

Mr. O’Dwyer’s first venture in franchising was in the mid 1970’s as a franchisee of Domesticare of Nutley, New Jersey in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. That business was eventually sold and he and his wife Kathie moved to New Orleans where he was Regional Developer under the Servpro Brand.

In 1980 Mr. O’Dwyer moved to South Florida with his wife and soon to be born daughter Megan. In the mid 80’s he sold his last Servpro Developer-ship and moved on. His next venture in franchising was when he became a Kwik-Kopy franchisee and was mentored by the great franchise icon, Bud Hadfield. By the time the 1980’s came to an end, Mr. O’Dwyer had become a franchisor and co-founder of the predecessor of his 300-unit PuroClean brand. In 2015, he sold most of his stake in PuroClean.

However, his entrepreneurial spirit never was squelched and only 18 months into semi-retirement Mr. O’Dwyer purchased a majority interest in Shapes Fitness for Women where he now resides as CEO and Managing Partner. His vast knowledge of franchising quickly added a new dynamic to Shapes Fitness for Women.
